I was sorely disappointed interior details quit being broadcast following an Oppo member commenting they would have been outside their hotel with air horns if news had reached them in time. Cannot think of a single reason why they would pull back from the chanc e to meet some of their most attentive readership on home ground.
God speed gentlemen, may your journey together continue to be as dull as it has thus far.

I’ll let you in on the joke. It was a fake threat intended to infect some excitement into what has been a dull attempt to cross the US. Take a hard look at this place and tell me the end result would have been any worse than throwing a sheet over the car to make it resemble a ghost and hide some easily removed non-destructive modification lying underneath. Or even scarier, let them get away from each other for an hour or two in separate camps of friendly company.
Serious talk now: I suspect Raph is still on not so secret probation for his treatment of a media car. Attempts to foil Jalopnik Dad’s leavening effect on his conduct might provide a fresh bounty unto our entertainment needs.

The road trip articles to me mostly seem boring cause they act like they’re amazing for driving an old car. Most of us have driven old cars or questionable cars before, but they keep acting like they’re amazing for taking such a crazy risky trip that really isn’t that crazy or risky lol
